Not as good as previous visits, will stay elsewhere next year, our friends had a bit of a nightmare they had to move rooms as for 3 days they complained the shower wasn’t working and no one fixed it, eventually the staff let them change. Unfortunately, next time we come we will be trying a different resort! More I love the location of the Flamingo, but feel as if the customer service is lacking and we are nickeled and dimed at every corner (resort fee, early check-in, $14 for internet on over 2 devices, etc.). The room was fine, but the air was VERY loud every time it went on which seemed to be constant! The carpet in the hallway bubbled in the middle all the way from the elevator to our room. Not having someone to welcome you and briefly explain things just takes the personal touch out of the hotel experience and makes customer service seem very lacking. The kiosks are super annoying because it only gives you 10 seconds to read the screen before it displays a message asking if you want to continue.obviously doesn't want you to read all the details. You wait in a long line only to have to self check-in at one of. Boy, has it gone downhill! The check-in process is laughable. ![]() We stayed here about 15 years ago and loved it, which is why we didn't hesitate to stay here again. We will try the Hash House across the street. Last rant-The cheapest breakfast is $14 for 7-11 style food. The odds of not having a room available on a Thursday for early check in are pretty slim. Also, there are 29 floors in this place and a lot of rooms on each floor. Don’t let the cheap advertised prices fool you. Next trip will be to a hotel with all amenities included. Took a chance with the regular room and we are still waiting for the nasty, damp carpeting to dry. We were offered a refurbished room for $39 more-after they had just reamed us for the $60. More than 2 iPhones per room? That will cost you $14.99 more if you have a laptop or iPad. The woman behind us was charged more as well and then the human check-in person started yelling at everybody in line-“People, early check in is $60!!” EVERYTHING is an additional fee.
